Alston Train Station
The South Tynedale Railway runs a narrow gauge passenger train along a 2 mile stretch of line along the South Tyne valley between Alston, in Cumbria and Kirkhaugh, in Northumberland. The track is the highest narrow gauge railway in England. The trains run from Easter till October and again near Christmas.
