Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall & Borderlands
Wetheral
The Viaduct in this picture was built in 1834 on the Carlisle to Newcastle line it consists of five spans of around eighty feet each and stands 100 feet tall. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful areas in the Eden Valley consisting of steep tree lined riversides with many local walks to be taken along them.
