Langstrath Valley - Blackmoss Pot

On a hot summers day Blackmoss Pot, up the Langstrath Valley, is alive with local children leaping from the edge, into the clear water below. The sun warms the water in Langstrath Beck as is tumbles down from the surrounding fells, and into the relatively wide valley floor. Be prepared to walk to this location - the route from Stonethwaite is delightful as it follows the beck up the valley.
