Eden Valley & North Pennines
Ullswater from Keldas

This wintery scene was taken from Keldas, a small hill overlooking Ullswater, situated just south of Glenridding. It can be easily reached by public footpath from the village or from Patterdale, passing Lanty’s Tarn. The view from the top is most rewarding; Sheffield Pike can be seen to the left of the lake, with Helvellyn climbing up in the distance.
